Orchestral Rock Engagement
BUCKLE UP | At its optimum, Big Iron Echoes will establish a palatable standard for "orchestral rock" in mainstream performance. To that end, conversations are budding among NYC dancers, instrumentalists, choreographers, composers, and live producers to foster a bold vision: to blossom BIE compositions into a full rock n roll concept integrated into a symphony orchestra -- rife with formal dance accompaniment and operatic vocal elements.
Collaborative Core
Already, Big Iron Echoes is exploring collaborative relationships among live, NYC-based artistic companies, ensembles, and troupes of all genres. By 2030, the concept will call for the activation of song & story through live dance, alternative instrumentation, and unique vocal accompaniment.
Folk roots
Germinating from its folk poetry fiber, sprouting through rock and roll, and blossoming into orchestral rock music, Big Iron Echoes seeks to preserve, proliferate, perpetuate original storytelling through the vehicle of live music. At its apex, this special project will integrate with the High Arts to create robust, one-of-a-kind productions to be produced live among the finest classical-style performance companies throughout the world.
